The Book of Legal Punishments
ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِهِمَا وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الرِّيفَ وَالْقُرَى .Anas reported that Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) used to strike forty times with shoes and palm branches (in case of drinking of) wine. The rest of the hadith is the same and there is no mention of pastures and towns
From Sahih Muslim, whose reports the scholars accept as authentic.
