The Book of Greetings
حَدَّثَنِي زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ هَامَةَ وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ وَأُحِبُّ الْفَأْلَ الصَّالِحَ " .Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:There is no transitive disease, no hama, no divination, but I like good omen
From Sahih Muslim, whose reports the scholars accept as authentic.
