The Book of Oaths (qasamah), Retaliation and Blood Money
أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، سَمِعْنَاهُ مَرَّةً، يَقُولُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَضَى بِاثْنَىْ عَشَرَ أَلْفًا يَعْنِي فِي الدِّيَةِ .It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that:the Prophet ruled that twelve thousand (should be given) as Diyah. (Hahan)
