The Book of Cutting off the Hand of the Thief
أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، وَمُجَاهِدٍ، عَنْ أَيْمَنَ، قَالَ لاَ يُقْطَعُ السَّارِقُ فِي أَقَلَّ مِنْ ثَمَنِ الْمِجَنِّ .It was narrated that Ayman said:"The (hand of) a thief is not to be cut off for less than the price of a shield." (Daif Mawquf)
